It’s not been warm recently, but that didn’t stop more than 40 members of Cricklade Scouts, Explorers, Cubs and Beavers from sleeping rough to raise funds for three local charities, including Malmesbury and District Foodbank. Because they couldn’t meet up to do it all together, they used their own back gardens and built their own shelters. The group leaders gave lessons on how to keep warm in the sub-zero temperatures and those were certainly needed. It’s really good that the scouts took on this challenge at this difficult time.
