Give Help
Donate food
Thank you very much for visiting our ‘Food Donation’ page. Because of the cost of living crisis we are seeing a large increase in people seeking our support, and would appreciate donations of the items indicated in the list on the side. In general, we would prefer to receive donations of standard nutritious items which appeal to the majority of people, including children.
Please remember that goods from supermarket cold cabinets (such a fresh fruit juice) needs to be kept refrigerated and therefore cannot be distributed if donated.
Our food parcels are assembled to meet the needs of our clients and it is more helpful to us if donated goods are in regular sizes – it then gives us more flexibility when packing parcels.
As an alternative, or if you are unable to visit one of our drop off points, can we suggest a financial donation? Such a donation would enable us to purchase extra supplies as and when the need arises. Please click on the red 'Donate' button at the top of this page.
Please do not leave donations at the Foodbank Distribution Centres; we are not the only users of these premises and we do not visit every day.
Once again, thanks for your support - without you we could not help those people in need.
From all at the Foodbank
P.S. there is a useful little App which can remind you of our needs when you are near to one of our collection points. It is called 'BanktheFood'. Download it and give it a try!
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
